More drive-in cinemas to screen ‘Exodus’

Iranian film ‘Exodus’ is to go on screen in three more drive-in movie theaters in Tehran.

‘Exodus’ by Ebrahim Hatamikia has been scheduled to go on screen in three drive-in movie theaters in Iran’s capital Tehran.  

The movie had a successful drive-in screening in Milad Tower. And now it is ready to go on screen in three other places on May 28.

 ‘Exodus’ narrates the story of a number of peasants voicing their concerns to government officials.

The movie got its premiere at the 38th Fajr Film Festival and grabbed two awards for best makeup and best visual effects.

Pantea Panahiha, Faramarz Qaribian, Jahangir Almasi, Giti Qasemi, Mehdi Faqih, Sam Qaribian, Kambiz Dirbaz, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, and Atash Taqipour have appeared in the flick.

As film industry was affected by coronavirus lockdown, the organizers are trying to offer films through safe means such as drive-in cinemas.

Other cities of Iran are also planning to offer films through drive-in cinemas.
